Devise a game by chasing yourself to the top of the stairs and back. Try to do it a couple of times a day and you are going to be fit like a horse in no time.

Walk with a Pedometer

Pedometer is an app which counts the steps that you walk. Just put your phone in your pockets when you do your daily chores and the pedometer will count the steps that you have walked. This will give you ample motivation to walk more. You can set targets in the app and even know the calories burnt. 

Jump Rope

Before you walk off saying that jump ropes are for school kids, try out and see if you can last a continuous one minute. Jumping rope helps strengthen footwork, builds and strengthens upper back and shoulders, enhances coordination, and also allows one to burn about 500 calories in just 30 minutes. It’s an effective cardio workout and you can even do it in your kitchen while cooking. Careful not to fall face down into the curry!

Cleaning

Cleaning can be a very strenuous exercise, especially vacuuming and mopping. Set up a house cleaning schedule and make your house spotless instead of going out for a run on a hot sunny day. You might as well kill two birds with one stone!

Water Bottle Weights

If you are looking to do some arm, shoulder, and back strength training, you can make your own weights by filling up water bottles. You can tailor the exercise to your level by filling the bottles to the exact weight that you need. For a greater challenge, increase the water amount just a little bit each time you workout. Start with half filling the 1.5 liter water bottles and increasing the water amount. Go for a bigger bottle if these seem light. You can even buy water bottle dumbbells if you don’t want to DIY.

Squat Jumps

Squats jumps offer amazing toning benefits for calves, hamstrings, quadriceps, and core. One Leg Stand

This can be done best while you are brushing your teeth. Look into the mirror and lift one leg slowly and balance your body weight on the other. Take care not to tilt your hips as if you are standing on a high rope. Bring your leg back and do the same on the next leg. This simple exercise will boost your posture perfection and lower body strength. Too simple that it can be done anywhere in the house as long as you don't have your kids near you or else they will push you down.

Floor Wiping- the King of Calorie Burn 

So this floor wiping is done not using a mop but using a cloth and your hands. You are ought to squat on the floor and wipe and mop the floor vigorously. Take out all that anger you have bottled up against your spouse or boss and clean the floor with intensity, not only will the floors of your home sparkle but also your fat will burn like anything.
